Anonymous asked: Why do you hate pancakes so much?

Because they are just fried bread. So unsatifying.

alright everybody, new game on campus: everyone has to try to get from class to class with absolutely no bags whatsoever. Players also have to make it on time to class despite the lines to get in lectures of up to 400 people and possible stops to your room to get new books. Extra points to those of you who live off campus, double extra points for those of you who ride a bike. If you’re a freshman and get thrown out of your room with your bomb bag, try to ditch the bag somewhere and be able to retrieve it after class. If you get evacuated from your room in the middle of the night and you have no friends off campus and/or your friends in other dorms dropped out of the game and went home, good luck. Object of the game is to make it to the end of the semester without going home and (here’s the catch) manage to not severely damage your grades. Don’t worry friends, there will be checkpoints along the way via email from administrators reminding you they are doing the very best they can. Best of luck to all. — my friend’s status update  (via pittpanthers)

Bomb threats at Pitt

In the past few weeks, Pitt has received over 50 bomb threats. As a current student trying to graduate, this is very very annoying. And kind of scary. This person is clearly trying to mess up the Pitt schedule as much as possible.

Basically, someone keeps threatening buildings via calls, texts, email, and writing on walls. CMU is currently trying to trace the emails, but they’ve had no luck so far. Although no one has been hurt, and no bombs have been found, everyone on campus is a little on the edge. What I first thought was just a student trolling the university, is now seeming more and more like a crazy person.

Here is some info on the threats:

Pitt bomb threat blog. This ones actually quite informative:

Crazy website by some guy that hates Pitt:

Reddit thread about the Pitt bomb threats:

That reddit page is quite creepy. I hope this gets resolved soon.
